ACTIVITIES OF SENATE LEADERS


In the morning of May 07, 2002, President of the Senate Samdech Chea Sim granted a farewell audience to H.E Kent Wiedemann, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the United States to Cambodia, upon the completion of his diplomatic mission.

 

In the morning of May 24, 2002, President of the Senate Samdech Chea Sim and spouse Mrs. Gnem Seun chaired an inauguration ceremony of Buddha statue at Prek Prang pagoda in Pagnea Leu district, Kandal province.

 


 

On May 09, 2002, First Vice President of the Senate Sdech Krum Khun SISOWATH Chivanmonirak chaired the opening ceremony of a forum on “Micro-Credit in Cambodia” co-organized by the Second Senate Commission in cooperation and the Cambodia Development Resource Institute for

the members of the Senate and National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
In the afternoon of May 14, 2002, First Vice President of the Senate Sdech Krum Khun SISOWATH Chivanmonirak granted a courtesy call to Mrs. Nirsia Castro Guenara, new Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the Kingdom of Cambodia.

 

 In the morning of May 02, 2002, Second Vice President of the Senate H.E Nhek Bunchhay   granted a courtesy call to Mr. Toshihiko HORIUCHI, First Secretary of the Embassy of Japan.

In the morning of May 14, 2002, Second Vice President of the Senate H.E Nhek Bunchhay granted an audience call to H.E Mrs. Nirsia Castro Guevara, newly appointed Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Cuba to Cambodia.
