The commission on Public Works, Transport, Civil Aviation, Post, Tele communication, Industry, Mines, Energy, Commerce, Land Management, Urbanization and Construction can be called as “Ninth Commission” and with abbreviated acronym as CPSVYEVW.

The CPSVYEVW shall assume the role of coordination, protect and promotion of the efficiency of the implementation of the constitution, laws and other regulations relating to the Public works, Transport, Civil Aviation, Post, Telecommunication, Industry, Mines, Energy, Commerce, Land Management, Urbanization and Construction.

The CPSVYEVW shall assume the following duties:

• Promote and research the development of sub district and district base concerning the duties of the CPSVYEVW.
• Coordinate the study and collect information in the aim at creating conferences relevant with specialized of the CPSVYEVW.
• Review and provide advice on draft laws, proposed laws to the senate Permanent Committee.
• Invite the representative of the institutions, dignity, expert or civil society to consult, research the information connected with the duties of the CPSVYEVW.
• Report and defend draft laws, proposed laws or other issues.
• Work in cooperation with community (sub district and district), civil society national institution or author of the draft laws and proposed laws by inviting them to meeting to provide clarification and argument.
• Cultivate relation with Commission of the National Assembly, with institutions of the Royal Government, with judiciary organizations and with community of the sub district and district in order to aware the initiatives of the new ideas, draft laws, proposed laws or issues in conformity with the legislative power of the senate.
• Initiate the arrangement and provide advice on proposed laws or issues in conformity with legislature power of the senate.
• Review, recommendation and resolve problems of complaints pertaining to the specialized work of the CPSVYEVW by the framework of the legislature power, roles, duties and the authority of the commission.
• Fulfill other tasks assigned by the senate Permanent Committee.

Competent of the Ninth Commission is to cover Public work, Transport, Civil Aviation, Post and Tele-Communication, Industry, Mines, Energy, Commerce, Land Management, Urbanization and Construction.
