The commission on Interior, National Defense, Relation with the National Assembly and Senate, Inspection, and Public Function can be called “Fourth Commission, and with the abbreviated acronym as “C4””

The commission on Interior, National Defense, Relation with the National Assembly and Senate, Inspection, and Public Function, shall assume the role of service provider to the Permanent Committee and the senate. The issues that fall under its jurisdiction which shall be based on the Constitution of the Kingdom of Cambodia, the Internal Regulations of the senate and other law in force, which include:

• Assistance in the coordination and cooperation with competent authorities of the National Assembly and the Royal Government.
• Assistance in public consultation with civil society, local and international circles as needed.
• Cooperate with other commissions of the senate, senators, and the general secretariat, so that it can achieve the role of service provider to the Permanent Committee of the Senate.

The commission on Interior, National Defense, Relation with the National Assembly and Senate, Inspection, and Public Function shall assume its duties under its jurisdiction:

• Review, make recommendations on the bills or issues, and request the Permanent Committee to follow its opinion on whether to consider the bill in the emergency case, to agree, to disagree or proceed with amendment.
• Report to the Permanent Committee on the result of domestic and international visits on various issues, or the audit of individual who has enjoyed high status.
• Conduct regular legislature oversight and report to the Permanent Committee the good compliance or loopholes and make recommendations for adjustment.

The quorum of the commission shall be more than half of the number of all members in the commission. Any decision by the commission shall be made by an absolute majority vote of all members.
