On the morning of August 12, 2002, Samdech Chea Sim, Acting Head of
State of the Kingdom of Cambodia, granted an audience to H.E Mrs. Stefanie
Beck, new Canadian Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Cambodia,
during which the Ambassador presented credentials to the Cambodian leader. |

- On the afternoon of August 22, 2002, Samdech Chea Sim, Acting Head of
State of the Kingdom of Cambodia, granted an audience to Gen. Pham Van Tra,
Vietnamese Minister of National Defense. |
Ambassador to Cambodia H.E David Matnei- who had completed his
diplomatic mission in Cambodia and was due to leave soon. |

On the afternoon of August 13, 2002, Acting President of the Senate
Sdech Krom Khun SISOWATH Chivan Monirak granted an audience to a Thai Senate
delegation led by H.E Wallop Tungkananurak, Chairman of the Committee on
Women, Youth and Elderly People’s affairs. |
Cambodia resumed its seventh plenary session,first legislature, under the presidency of Acting President of the
Senate Sdech Krom Khun SISOWATH Chivan Monirak and Second Vice President of
the Senate H.E Nhek Bun Chhay to debate and adopt a forestry law. |
